It's one week from Thanksgiving, do you know where your turkey and dressing are?
If you're not cooking, time to get booking your feast today
When VZD’s closed earlier this year we lost an important Thanksgiving tradition that included gathering around Mike Hosty to sing “Hidey Hole” while depositing a day’s worth of suppressed deviled egg farts with our friends.
Fear not, even though Hosty won’t play VZD’s on Thanksgiving night for the first time since 1998 (pandemic aside) he but has plenty of shows to catch this holiday season. And Thanksgiving traditions, like my annual list of restaurants open for business on Thanksgiving, remain.
As always, this list isn’t comprehensive but if you own a restaurant that will be open on Turkey Day, email me the details.
Before we get into a list of places to pay for a meal on Thanksgiving, if you need a free meal or are seeking a volunteering opportunity, Kaiser’s Grateful Bean will once again host the Luke Cathey Memorial Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
