Thank you for this report. The Thomas family has always been the kindest people on earth. You should share the story about what Big Ed did immediately after the bombing from his store by St Anthony’s. I still can’t think about that without breaking down into a puddle. He was and is a Hero!

What a great story about a fantastic icon. I love eating here. Is there any relation to connection to Little Mike's as well?

No relation other than Lebanese heritage, which you'll find running through the local food-service industry.

My Mom owned a beauty salon for over 50yrs in the same shopping center 23rd & MacArthur Blvd OKC the only Big Ed’s location I ever knew, Big Ed was there all the time and he was friends with my Mom, I played with his 2 kids that I remember a blonde son named after Ed if I remember correctly and his daughter, I believe her name is Nicole. They were kind people and Big Ed’s hamburgers were delicious! Fries were the BEST!!! I’m going to take my Mom to #14 because II would love to have a Big Ed’s hamburger.
