I love Jo-Bawbs. Have you tired Sharps in Piedmont?

I haven’t tried Sharp’s yet.

You have to go out there and try it. They are only open I believe Thursday-Sunday unless they run out.

Thrilled to see Jo-Bawb’s on this list. Yes, the burnt ends are great, but for me it’s the brisket. It’s always great, but there are certain days it’s phenomenal. And how can you talk about Butcher without mentioning their Apple Pie BBQ Baked Beans? Those beans and Clark Crew’s cornbread mini loaves are my second and third favorite sides at a BBQ joint (first will always be the coleslaw they had at Beef & Bun/Mr. Catfish).

I’ll have to give Edge Craft a try. I’ve been hesitant because I thought Maples was an over-rated mess. Both times I tried their brisket, it was just mush with no smoke.

Clark’s served me some of the WORST ribs I’ve ever had. I’ve thrown away better ribs than they served me. The manager agreed when he saw them, and said can we have another chance to get a better review, and I told them they should serve their best every day, given the hype and the cost. I walked out after that…

First time I have seen your ratings. I have only tried number 4, but hopefully the other four are good. Clark Crew, in my opinion, is over-rated, highly over priced and over-hyped. I've eaten there four times. The brisket was desert dry all 4 times, the sides barely decent and the serve borderline Mickey D level. Hopefully the other four you have listed are actually good.

I think Jo-Bawb's and Butcher BBQ are outstanding. Sharp's in Piedmont is worth a try. On OU game days I frequent Ray's in Norman and it is in my top 5 for the 405.
